What Is LeadPages?
This is a platform to create a website or landing pages that are built around the drag and drop function. It also allows you to connect those landing pages with your CRM, e-mail marketing software, and track it all by connecting it with Google Facebook Analytics.
Next, I suggest we will review all its possibilities.
How to build a website with LeadPages
You can create both by choosing a ready template or by creating it from scratch.
You can use either LeadPages’ free hosting or create a website via LeadPages and then just connect it with a third-party hosting provider like NameCheap or BlueHost.
However, I recommend using WordPress or other CRM for building a website and use LeadPages to create special pages that you can later connect to your domain.
How to create a simple landing page with LeadPages
Here you can create just separate landing pages that will or won’t be connected to your main domain.
You can connect those page/pages to a domain directly via LeadPages and then just publish them to make them visible. Alternatively, you can publish a landing page on a separate domain and then, connect this page to the needed domain via the special WordPress plugin.
With both, a website or landing page creation, you can instantly add pop-ups, sign-up forms connected to other software, payment integrations and tracking code to measure users’ activity on it.
The best thing about this platform is the possibility of tons of integrations. Below, I will list just some of them as there are really hundreds of options.
- Analytics (Google Analytics or Tag Manager, Hotjar)
- CRM (Salesforce, Contactually, Nimble)
- Digital Advertising (Google, Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and other advertising platforms)
- Ecommerce (Shopify)
- Email Marketing (Gmail, MailChimp, GetResponce, Drip, ConvertKit)
- Live Chat (ManyChat, Chat.io)
- Marketing Automation (HubSpot, Zapier)
- Payments (PayPal, Stripe)
- Website’s CRM (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
There are also many features for scheduling, adding video and performing webinars as well as using social media.
The company has three pricing options:
- Standart, $27 per month or $444 per year
- Pro, $59/month or $708/year
- Advanced, $239month or $2868/year
All three allow using main features like being able to create a website or landing pages, mobile-responsive templates, pop-ups and banners, lead notification, and over 40 integrations.
What differs? Pro and Advanced plans offer more websites (with Pro you can create up to websites and with advanced up to 50 sites). Those plans also allow adding payment and sales tools, e-mail trigger links and A/B split testing.
Advanced plan is mainly good for advanced Integrations (like Hubspot or Salesforce), adding up to 5 team members to an account and VIP 1-1 technical support.
The provider also offers a 14-day free trial after you enter your payment card details.
CaseStudy: How I used LeadPages?
I worked with a small business offering virtual assistant services. They have a website and also wanted to create an AdWords campaign. For advertising purposes, I decided to use LeadPages.
The reason behind this is the simplicity of building user-friendly landing pages that are easily integrated with CRM to get leads, sending e-mails after a prospect signs up, and basically track all the activity via Google Analytics.
So, I created a few separate landing pages for each advertising campaign (I needed to create a separate advertising campaign for different languages and different locations). I connect it to the main domain by using a special WordPress plugin and add it as landing pages to my AdWords campaigns.
- User-friendly interface
- Integrates with most third-party services.
- Pretty basic split testing options.
Clickfunnels vs Leadpages: Bottom line
Clickfunnels has more options to offer but it is also more complicated to use and also more pricey. His means you need to spend more time on learning how to use it as well as to spend more on this tool.
The choice depends on your needs. If you need to create a beautiful web page for some advertising campaign or a simple website, you should use LeadPages. If your aim is to create an advanced sales funnel considering all the features of your customers’ journey, you should use ClickFunnel.
