Do you know those facts?

59% of managers say they would better watch a video rather than reading text.

Over the last year, 81% of businesses use video as a marketing tool.

By 2022, online videos will make up more than 82% of all consumer internet traffic.

Those are just some of the stats why video is becoming such an important tool for business today. This means software that serves for creating video content is becoming more in demand in 2021. Thus, let’s discuss one of the most popular platforms aimed at working with videos called Invideo.

What is Invideo?

It is software for creating and editing video content. This tool helps to create an ad or a video for social media like YouTube, Instagram or Facebook, or for other placements.

How this video maker works

In a nutshell, Invideo has three main functions:

how invideo works

1.Creaing videos with pre-made templates

The platform offers over 3000 templates so that you can create a video. You create a headline and script for each video and then, a system auto suggests you an image and audio for that text and helps to combine all together in a video. You can also add some ready pieces of video into your own one.

You can also edit it during the process.

2.Converting text to video

This means you can create videos by using your text content and images available on the platform.

To do this, first, you need to upload your text or put an URL with the text needed. Then, you create a sequence of images + text by dragging and dropping it. Finally, you can add audio from their library or upload your own music or voice-over.

Here, you also can use among pre-made templates and use images and videos from Invideo library.

3.Creating a video from scratch.

You can also make it yourself from scratch which is a more advanced option.

Case study: How I used Invideo

I have a website that provides reviews of online courses. So, I decided to use Invideo to visualize each review. I created videos to show how each online course provider works, how to create an account, how to use it etc.

After adding this type of content to my articles, the engagement of the website’s users has grown by 30%.

Invideo Alternatives

Invideo vs Biteable

Both companies offer video creation and editing services. Both companies offer plenty of templates to create a video or an ad with additional features. However, Invideo includes more options like Video Capture and Speed Adjustment among others.

Both platforms include free and paid plans. While the cheapest subscription by Invideo costs $20 per month, Biteble offers a very similar one for $19. As for free versions, both include the company’s watermark on a video created.

Invideo vs. Animoto

In a nutshell, those platforms have similar functions. Animoto is more for basic text-over-images kind of videos while Invideo is more for professional use like creating Youtube video or social media ad.

Both tools can be used for free while the cheapest paid option is $15 by Animoto and $20 by Invideo.

Buttom line

Invideo is a good tool for creating a video. It doesn’t require any technical skills and has many templates to use for making content. I recommend this tool for small businesses and marketers who need to increase brand awareness and basically create marketing campaigns for social media or for a website.
